Miriam Geiger (class of 2003) chose to create a hanging package to minimalize the usage of shelf space. She combines bright colors with a playful image of someone unzipping a strand of DNA that turns into a zipper at the bottom. The supercoil DNA model (shown here as two intertwined scarves) winds in and out of the package to further the illusion of movement. Miriam's design won her the Jane S. Richardson Prize.
