Violette Davis (class of 2003) noted that Prof. Jungck's four types of DNA knots could correspond with the four nucleotides that compose DNA: Guanine, Cytosine, Adinine, and Tyrosine. She thus created four separate containers, one for each DNA toy. Violette also capitalized on the idea that if people purchased one model, they would need to purchase the other three to complete the GCAT set. Her idea won her the Rosalind Franklin Prize.
